| September 1 | Applications available for down load at www.elks.org/enf/scholars Lodges distributes contest material to High Schools |
| December | State Chairs Notify Lodges of District Chairs |
| January 12 | All brochures turned in by students to designated Elks Lodges |
| January 30 | Lodge scholarship judging completed. Qualified Applications forwarded to next level of judging |
| February 19 | District scholarship judging completed. Forward qualified applications to State Chairs for judging |
| March 7 | State scholarship judging completed. Ship qualifying applications to ENF Chicago office by March 9 |
March 12 | National scholarship judging begins |
| May 15 | ENF announces winners. Contest results published at www.elks.org/enf/scholars and mailed directly to State and Lodge Chairs |
