Elks National Foundation Committee
In 1938 the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks established the Elks National Foundation. The Foundation was established to build stronger communities through the development of our youth through college scholarships, "Hoop Shoot" program, the Drug Awareness Program and others. The Grand Lodge seeded the Foundation with $100,000. Today that seed has grown to a whopping $390 million! This year the Foundation has invested $13.8 million toward the youth of our country. Programs that benefitted from this are college scholarships, "Hoop Shoot" program, Drug Awareness Program, National Veterans Service Commission and Elks National Home.
Last year the Georgia Elks Association received grants totaling $76,794.00. These grants are to be used for youth scholarships, "Hoop Shoot" and Soccer Shoot programs, Elks Aidmore Children's Center, Elks Veterans Service Commission, and other other charitable and philanthropic programs.
You may make your contribution to the outstanding program by donations in your local Lodge or through the
"Online Giving".
